What is a automatic bollards?
Bollards are very resistant automatic remote control device – metal cylinders intended for traffic organization and access control to restricted areas. They also allow completely prevent exte
rnal risks of transport application. Automatic bollard system is an excellent security mean; its improved version can bear massive transport impacts, as well as it complements common building and territory security system.
Unlike barriers and other commonly known traffic control systems, bollards are highly damage-resistant and therefore fully fulfil intended functions, at the same time keeping easy operation and perfectly fitting in different architectural and design solutions.
Bollards are often widely used in:
⇒ embassies, ambassador’s residences, government institutions, military units and prisons at terrorism or invasion risk;
⇒ hospitals, shopping centres – for transport flow control;
⇒ banks, hotels, airports, ports – for security of pedestrians or VIP vehicle parking areas; 
⇒ public transport areas – for separating transport traffic flow;
⇒ cities – to protect old city area, sightseeing areas, pedestrian areas and other important areas;
⇒ vehicle trade centres – to prevent vehicle theft.
Automatic bollards operation is based on moving metal cylinders. Closed (moved in) metal cylinder ensures free interrupted traffic flow. Open (moved out) bollard cylinder restricts traffic and allows access to only authorized transport or completely blocks access and performs security functions. Bollards are widely used in public places like parks, squares, pedestrian areas, bicycle paths, beaches by allowing traffic of service and operative transport.
